	Hi! My name is Gagandeep Khanna, and I'm the founder and head coach at this academy. I'm a non-practicing C.A. turned Home-maker-turned-Chess coach and Entrepreneur.My son showed am interest in the game when he was 4 years old. I wanted to encourage him the best way I could. That's what got me into Chess coaching. While chess has been part of our family for a long time, it was with my son and I that we took it up professionally.By the age of 6, my son went to his first tournament. No doubt, we both faced quite a few defeats at first. But my brave 6-year old didn't give up. And neither did I. Together, we trained harder than ever! And it began to bear results.The wins started lining up, and before we knew it, my boy ranked 1st at Bombay's largest city level tournament. He then went on to play at state and national levels, where he held rankings as well. That was when I knew, Chess would remain a Big part of our life, for years to come. And it has. We have recently shifted to Pune. Where we are still keeping the spirit of this beautiful game alive! And ofcourse, sharing the remarkable gifts of this game with as many little masters as possible.
