	The Bombay Presidency Golf Course (BPGC) is the most prestigious club for golf in the city. The 18 hole course is demanding and was initially designed by five time British Open champion Peter Thompson and later redesigned in 2009 by Nelson and Haworth. The club has a very popular junior program and also offers a junior golf membership. So if your child wants to play the sport but you are not a member you can enquire about this option. Eleven year old Aaryaman Mascarenhas a Mumbai competitive golfer trains at BPGC and here is what his mother Pardita has to say about the training at this club, “As a parent of young golfers, I would like my kids to be under good and able coaches who not only understand the game but also understand kids. Young kids can get bored and distracted easily and the coaches at BPGC have a nice fun way of teaching kids. They make golf fun with competitions. They also acknowledge the young ones with little gifts like a special golf ball or a pack of tees when they play well or have a good practice day. This thrills the kids especially as the gift is given to them by their coaches. Once a child is a little older, the connect with a coach becomes very important. If you see your child not connecting with the coach or not happy to go for lessons, it's better to move him to another one after talking to your child and to the coach about it.
